Hey. How have you been?? Well I'm back! My website is up and running and I can't complain. Life is good because it is simple. I am learning simplicity is always better and stress free.

I decided to provide a list of stress free things for the single girl living in a coupled world:)

1. Prayer: Sounds boring but not really. If you truly believe the person you are praying to is actually listening. You can lay your burdens down before Him and don't pick it back up. Feel free to slap a pow pow (toddler talk..) on your hand if you start to fret. Remember you spoke to the one that already knows all about your troubles. He is working it out!

2. Learn to Laugh: I really felt like there was no time to laugh a few minutes ago. I am too busy doing this and that, worrying about this and that. Ask any American it is much easier to frown than smile. Smiling alone in New York? People will think you are crazy! The other day I hung out with a friend laughed till I almost cried. That is food for the soul. It felt so good it had to be good for me. I heard it is so attractive to the other sex. Forget about what strangers are thinking they don't know your story

3. Cook: I know what you are thinking is this the 1950's?? For those who don't like to cook. Have you tried it, what about whipping up your favorite dishes? Taking a cooking class? Cooking while listening to pandora? It's one of the best sensory erupting feelings. Especially if it is done carefree and without anyone to judge your skills. (You get to lick the spoon :)

4. Nothing. Yes doing Nothing. Have you tried it? It pays off. Doing nothing and being grateful for life and opportunity!

Peace be with ya! Be StressLess

Poem: Call me Clown

This is another random poem. I was in the mood today after months of a dry spell. I hope you enjoy!

Call me Clown
Crazy foolish child
Leave dreams for drunks and bums
Every scholar knows faith should be dropped in a sea of wishes
Luck is much better to grab
Chance is the cousin of all
Breathe in the heavy sighs of a glass generation
We do it all our own, we are god.
Call me clown but
I hold on to a tightrope of hope
Base jump blindfolded from jagged mountains  of faith all smiles
Skydive from morality jets of promise
 into passing clouds of joy
“Laugh” as Favor falls with the glitter of the sunset
“Point” as the harlequin juggles small blessings big blessings, jaw dropping blessings in clear anointed hands
Call me clown why don’t you?
I am running the race set before me.
Love bleeds from my heart
I run for you
Don’t have time to pitch a tent or get high
I’m needed on the road as all the rotten stuff passes me by.
I switched from floppy to mission trainers
Now the finish line breaks more than tape and
Deters a final destination
? Who is laughing now?  Me.

Won't you be a living thing?

Won’t you be a living thing??
Come and awaken with me out of a dream.
Come wonder and wander with me in a place familiar
Won’t you be a living thing for me?
Quiet mountains whisper about you
Holy verdict presses your presence upon my heart
I can’t bear it!
Won’t you be a living thing for me?
Time carousels every turn I look, I watch, wait
There you are a glimpse, apparition, vision from another world, a realm called divinity
I dance with the hidden question on my lips
Do you sing for me? Do you discover me in a requested song? Does a figure follow with this reflection?
I feel a pleasant shadow in the dusk of a daydream and I smile almost float above the ground…
Won’t you be a living thing for me?
A world says, “You don’t exist”
Wait till heaven comes, Enchanted”
I say “this living thing is a plane ticket, a prayer ahead, prophesy chimed, wedding bells spoke Curtains reveal- This man is living and breathes my name to his…
    Here he is.

The Parable of the God Chosen Husband- The Book: Five Steps Needed to be Spoiled by God

Five Steps Needed to be Spoiled by God

"But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease without fear of harm." Proverbs 1:33

God wants his children to always feel calm, cool, collected. The strong winds shouldn't effect us, we should only feel a reassuring breeze from the heavens.

God wants you to feel safe in His arms.

God wants you to be at ease in this lifetime and for always.

God wants you to be FEARLESS in the face of dangerous encounters.

God wants nothing and no one to harm you.

God wants to equip you with bulletproof, enemy repellent skin. He wants you to know in Him you will always have a force field of grace and heavenly favor.

So you're saying, all of that sounds nice but I don't feel like I have that. Where is God when I need Him? I pray almost every night and I get up with unanswered prayers. People get on my nerves and life is just not fair! I have been patient and I have waited on the Lord. Maybe He doesn't want to bless me. Maybe He just likes Susan or Ricky better than me.

Well I'm here to tell you that God does not favor one child over the other. He is not a human wrapped in fleshy ulterior motives. He is God Almighty and He is delighted when His children call on Him regardless of what they are going through. He sees the heart and responds.

Here are a few examples from the Holy text of people who were considered doomed and forgotten by God but never turned their back on Him.

Joseph - was betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery and thrown into prison. He left a good home with a loving father to a cold lonely prison cell in a foreign land. That had to be a rough time. Still Joseph looked to God and trusted him. God answered by exalting him to the second highest position in Egypt as well as deeming him and his people favorable in a foreign land. ( Read the later part of Genesis starting at Chapter 37 for reference)

Daniel - Did Daniel whine and complain when he had to stand against a nation that was against the God he served? Did he ask God why me when he was thrown in the lions den? No he faced the heart troubling and life threatening situation head on. He trusted that God would rescue him, keep him safe and protect him from all harm. That's what God did. He shut the mouths of the lions and when his enemies where thrown in the same den he opened their mouths to devour a hearty meal. Look at God. ( Read Daniel 6)

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego- who can forget the three Hebrew boys filled with promise? That's why when they were thrown into the fiery furnace it was a surprise for all but these three when God showed up. For you see their belief in their God was stronger than their fear of death ( forget fear of man; they didn't have it!) Jesus himself covered the bodies of the boys with  his fireproof presence and they exited the furnace radiant and glorious as if God himself touched their faces. That's exactly what He did! ( Read the book of Daniel Chapter 3 for reference)

These people all had GREAT Faith! Even in the midnight hour they saw the glory of God.

That is what God wants for you.
These people had God's heart and attention. He used them for a purpose bigger than themselves and showed Himself mighty in their lives.

I want that attention from God. I want to be used for a greater purpose. I want to be spoiled by His love. I want God to call me "his baby". I want to be endeared by Him, cradled by Him. I want Him to never let me go. I want to feel like a gem in Yahweh's eyes.

So the Holy Spirit revealed to me in five steps how to enhance that affection.

Step 1 : Ask for wisdom. In order to feel a stirring of love in our hearts we have to hear and recognize the voice of God. Can you tell the difference between your voice and God's voice? God's voice has to be clear and in order to hear with the heart (unlike natural ears our spiritual ones are located in our hearts) it must be unplugged. God gives wisdom freely. Ask for it, its free!
"Wisdom calls aloud in the street she raises her voice in the public squares."
Tune out the other voices that annoy you and unplug your heart.
Say "God I need your wisdom. I ask you to help me block out the things that are going to distract me from hearing your voice. Speak to my heart so that I can listen and obey."

Step 2 :When we find peace rest in it. After a daily dose of wisdom from God you are not going to feel anxious, upset, troubled but the complete opposite. It's a lovely feeling to know God just gave you a Rhema (word) from heaven. It feels intimate, private, sweet. The sweetness brings peace. We ruin the moment by allowing natural things to erase the feeling; like fussing about paying the bills,  worrying about tomorrow, people pleasing. Arguments with people make us forget the time we had with God. People in general make us forget what God has spoken in our lives! Making people the center of our focus causes us to forget to spend time with the "center of it all." God is the granter of peace, He is the restorer of peace so why do we run to counselors, therapists and our friends to give us something He has already given us. Hold on to peace and don't let it slip away.

Step 3 : Don't play with fear; let it go. Once you have constant peace fear vanishes like a cheesy magician "out of sight". Fear has to be released when nothing can send you jumping through hoops anymore. You are cool as a cucumber now, what's up? Your answer to everything is" no worries it's in my Father's hands." You are in direct relationship with the King of Kings. He holds the highest office in the universe what are you afraid of?? Go to your Father! Once the enemy realizes that all his scare tactics don't work on you; guess what? He is going to run away from you! The devil will be afraid of you! That impresses Almighty God. He sees you working in the power he has given you. He cherishes and rewards you for your fearless attitude. He says, "What a jewel____is! _______ is a treasure I hold in my hands, high and lifted up because he/she works FEARLESSLY. "

Step 4 : Humble yourself before God's mighty hand and he will lift you up in DUE time. Cast all your anxiety on him because He CARES for you." 1 Peter 5 : 6&7
The key word is HUMBLE. We, as God's messengers, must be humble. We must never take credit for what he has done. Pride can not live with humility, if pride has rented out a room in your house I'm pretty sure he will insult humility with his stink attitude and gigantic head! Humility will jump out of the window! No, they don't make awesome roommates so don't try to hook them up. Always remember to be humble. Our King, Jesus was humble when He didn't have to be why should we be any different? We are the examples for the world, we shouldn't make heads turn with our bragging, our know it all attitude, or from telling someone where they can shove it! Remember God fights all of our battles we don't have to argue in the street or get puffed up because someone forgot to mention us in his/her speech. Highlighter: IF no one else sees your efforts God sees it. He rewards the best!

Step 5 : Shine for God and God Alone. Don't forget why you are here. You are supposed to be a star chosen by God, distinctive and revealing. You prepare the way for others to come. That is not a small job that IS A BIG DEAL. When you know from the outlining of your heart to the center that you are on a divine assignment nothing will depress you. Even in the darkest times you still find a reason to smile, during a grieving season still find a reason to be grateful. God sees you, he knows you and your pain like no other in the universe. He wants to comfort you. He wants to celebrate you, laugh with you! ( yeah God laughs)

He wants to prepare a feast for you, He wants to crown you, He wants to cleanse and purify your soul everyday. He wants to speak to you alone when you are dreaming, He wants to pat you on the back and say "Job well done my daughter/son keep going" now! You don't have to wait for heaven He wants to bless you on Earth. He wants to whisper His promises by night and fulfill them by day. He wants to spoil you with His caresses, His gentle guidance, His time alone with you. He wants to spoil you like an only child.

He is the only parent that can spread Himself  so far to meet the needs of endless children. How wonderful is He! Do you desire Him?

You Must Desire Him. He can't do it without your input. He gives us free will and He won't twist your arm. (My God is too cool for that ;))  The desire must be there, alive, from within. You must desire to spend time with the Maker of Heaven, Earth and You. You must make the appointments and trust that He will show up.

Do you desire Him? Is He your first, your last, your everything?
(didn't mean to reference Barry White)

Then prepare to be spoiled by God.

Pretty Pretty Princess

Ok so who remembers Pretty Pretty Princess the board game? I DO. I don't really know who I use to play with back then ( maybe my mom and aunts by force) or maybe my girl cousins who didn't come around that often. Who knows? The point is the game was very girly. It was all about getting jewels. No boys allowed. If you rolled the dice and landed on a picture of a bracelet you would be able to chose a princess trinket from out of the treasure box in the middle . There were so many jewels to chose! (Can you read my excitement?) I know the commercial looks like corn on a stick now but it is a fond memory to me.

The winner would take the crown and show off for the whole day! If you happen to be playing with me there was no contest. ")

Ahhh those were the the days of innocence when dreams ran free.

Don't get me wrong I loved playing police and matchbox line up with the boys  but there was something about being a princess. Putting on the gaudy plastic ring made me feel elegant, womanly. Chosen. I basked in it. Play conversations with my girl cousins made me feel such a sophisticate.

And of course We all waited for our imaginary prince to arrive, topple the pieces over and carry us to a land far far away (hear the harps playing) ... Then the boys came and brought us back to reality.

I couldn't have "adult" conversations with boys there was no time in between the running and jumping over fake cliffs. There was barely time to breathe.

Thinking about Pretty Pretty Princess brings a smile to my face.  Maybe I am making too much of it but This was a game Where a girl can delight in her girliness and dream on.

I am a proud 90's chick. I think everything was  best then.

Do the girls of today have anything like Pretty Pretty Princess or are all  games on the computer, playing with Ipads and iphones? Boardgames, hand games, jump rope, anything? ( insert if you know of one)

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see it. Barbies have become extinct a long time ago. Dress up. Forget it! "Skip it" was a daily exercise routine for me but then there's Dance Revolution.

Tell me where are the Pretty Pretty Princesses? Little Girls should be able to dream in PINK if they want to. I still do ( maybe ORANGE) but you know what I mean.

Little girls in their natural behavior. Little Girls how God intended. Little girls that dream big grow to be visionaries, pioneers, teachers, writers,  entrepreneurs, storytellers, instruments of God; great moms, dynamic wives. I remember my mom's friend promising me at Disney World that she was going to make me my own medieval princess hat. The one with the ribbon trailing down the back.  Apparently the one I wanted in Disney World wasn't good enough. Where's my medieval princess hat mom's friend? It's been eighteen years and I'm still waiting for it...Never mind.
And of course there's Suri  Princess Fashionista!  Leading the way for the new Milli girls.

To all my 90's girls we are still princesses. If you call God "Abba" meaning Father, you are entitled to wear that crown. Wear it with grace and dignity! Encourage another; connect her to royalty. In Christ is where dreams really do come true!
